Always wanted to ski the trees but you’re a little afraid of them (they’re so close together!)? Everyone raves about a powder day but you find powder to be a lot of work?
Bumps? Isn’t that why they invented grooming?

Now is your chance to tackle the next skill and take your skiing to the next level. All month long, take a Specialty Skill Improvement Clinic (Afternoon Workshop) focused on the skill you want to improve. We’ll guarantee a max of 4 adults per class. Powder workshops are dependent on conditions.

And Feb 12 -13 is our Talons Tune-up Weekend. Spend an afternoon honing your bumps skills. Learn how to conserve energy so you can make it through the whole day. And you’ll get some help with Talons Challenge day tactics – which runs should you hit first, when to break for lunch…

Bumps/Trees/Powder Clinics are designed for Intermediate and Advanced skiers (level 6 and up). Talons Tune-up Clinics are for more Advanced skiers (level 7 & up).

Beaver Creek also offers afternoon adult workshops for first time snowboarders.

No need to pack your lunch for the ski day. The new “Lunch for less” value meal is offered at all Vail & Beaver Creek on mountain restaurants, everyday of the season for just $9.95, and includes an entree, side dish and beverage. Also try the signature burger, “Epic Burger” featuring a freshly baked bun, 2 angus beef quarter pound patties, lettuce, tomato, onion, pickle, organic white cheddar cheese and a special sauce.

Not a bad option to beat the expensive prices that are commonly found at on-mountain cafeterias.
