Make Beaver Creek your Valentine’s Getaway

What’s more romantic than cozy fires at night and fresh powder during the day? Treat your Valentine to a romantic winter weekend getaway. Not only will your sweetie love that you planned a special vacation, but they’ll appreciate that you were able to cut costs on this winter ski trip using these deals and tips.

Buy Lift Tickets Ahead of Time – If you buy your lift ticket at the ski resort, chances are you’ll have to pay full price.

Rent Equipment Off-Site – Rent your skis or snowboard at your resort and you’ll pay a premium. You may be able to spend less if you reserve them online ahead of time, but you’ll save even more if you go off-site. Head to a ski rental shop nearby and rent your equipment for your entire stay.

Research the Rental Car – If you need a rental car, chances are you need one big enough to lug around all of your ski equipment. This probably means you want an SUV or a minivan. Sometimes the SUV is a better deal, but sometimes the minivan is a bigger bargain. Research what’s available and don’t just assume one will cost less than the other.
