Know the Code Scavenger Hunt:Every mountain user is expected to know the seven points of Your Responsibility Code. The “Know the Code” Scavenger Hunt is aimed at kids who are intermediate to advanced level skiers or snowboarders. The Scavenger Hunt will provide a tour of the mountain while talking about Your Responsibility Code and Smart Style.

Buy Lift Tickets Ahead of Time – If you buy your lift ticket at the ski resort, chances are you’ll have to pay full price.

Rent Equipment Off-Site – Rent your skis or snowboard at your resort and you’ll pay a premium. You may be able to spend less if you reserve them online ahead of time, but you’ll save even more if you go off-site. Head to a ski rental shop nearby and rent your equipment for your entire stay.

Research the Rental Car – If you need a rental car, chances are you need one big enough to lug around all of your ski equipment. This probably means you want an SUV or a minivan. Sometimes the SUV is a better deal, but sometimes the minivan is a bigger bargain. Research what’s available and don’t just assume one will cost less than the other.
