Beaver Creek Resort in Colorado is open top to bottom, and has an eight feature terrain park located at the bottom of chair 6, Centennial Express.  Rose Bowl is open and conditions are great up high on Chair 8 , Cinch Express. The snow is soft up top and still not to shabby at the bottom late in the afternoon, which is saying something. Early season conditions are expected to continue improving with new snow in the forecast throughout the next couple weeks. So we should see most of the mountain open by Christmas something that is not always the case.  Vail Resort also has incredible early season conditions and over 1700 open acres. Yesterday, November 5th, 2010 Keystone Resort opened for the 2010 – 2011 Ski and Snowboard winter season. They are running 4 lifts and have a lot more terrain than either Loveland or Arapahoe Basin. Keystone is open from top to bottom. The resort is featuring 2 jumps and 20 features from the Area 52 Terrain Park in its early season jib park.

Professional Cycling: Vail and Avon are a part of the 11 stage race through Colorado. The race will be held August 22-28 of 2011.  Vail will be hosting a time trial on August 25, 2011, and Avon will be the start of the stage that will take riders to Steamboat, CO the overall route is expected to be released in early 2011.
